Creative Director
Responsibilities
  • Needs to have a solid understanding of the brand and commercial aspects of the company and the target market to ensure delivery of content that caters to the target market
  • Liaising with other departments to understand their advertising or marketing requirements
  • Planning and supervising the entire creative process and guiding the creative team consisting of Art Directors, Graphic Designers, Content Writers, Photographers and Videographers
  • Guiding the creative team to create, plan and deliver effective visual content for Acquest and other brands under Acquest
  • Developing ideas for advertising, digital marketing, or social media campaigns
  • Taking responsibility for the creative philosophy and the standard of output across the department
  • Overseeing all creative projects for the brand and external brands, setting deadlines and keeping to deadlines, and sign off on all visual content prior to release
  • Managing the creative team
Requirements
  • Must be a creative and strategic thinker
  • Should possess a Degree or Postgraduate qualification in Marketing, Communication or Design
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Creative Director in an Advertising Agency or a Marketing Department is a prerequisite
  • Should have good interpersonal skills and the ability to drive a young, energetic team towards excellence
  • Being organised, and managing time effectively to meet deadlines is mandatory
  • Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written and a working knowledge of Sinhala is necessary
  • Must have an eye for detail
  • Needs to be knowledgable on design software, video editing, and photo editing software
